On August 21, First Deputy Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Volodymyr Shulmeyster visited the production facilities of the company “Tatra-Yug”, which are located in the “Southern Machine-Building Plant named after Makarov”, where he got acquainted with the process of creating of Ukrainian trams.
On June 22 ME “Kyivpastrans” has held tender for purchase of 7 trams. For this meant the volume of budget financing in the amount of 240 mln. UAH. The evaluation of proposals was carried out on the basis of a single criterion – the price.
Tram cars of T-3M, in an amount of 12 units purchased from the company “Tatra-Yug”, successfully operated for the past 19 years and have proved their reliability.
