The history of Tatra-Yug began in 1993. At that time, in Ukraine was created an extensive technical and material base for the production of the first Ukrainian tram. Development and growth of Tatra-Yug trams occurred due to the continuous full support of the world’s largest enterprise for production of trams, CKD Tatra (Czech Republic, founded in 1927), which has transmitted to us its technical expertise and market experience.
All skills in the creation of new trams have moved to the Tatra-Yug after CKD Tatra has stopped working in 2003.
For more than 25 years of its existence, Tatra-Yug has developed and has released 5 types of trams, 4 of which are in serial production.
Currently, Tatra-Yug trams are being operated in most cities of Ukraine, where there is this kind of transport (22 cities), and have proven their reliability, efficiency and high quality.
